Byeselfie is a marketplace for travelers. You book a local reelmaker, photographer or videographer, and they shoot trending reels and photos of you on your own phone during your trip.
Milan, Paris, Yerevan, Rome, Barcelona, Lisbon, London, Amsterdam, Prague and New York. In some cities the first creators are still joining, so the city page says "coming soon" until they are live.
The shoot is short, the content is raw (no editing), and everything is filmed on your phone, so you have it right away. That is why it usually costs less than a classic photoshoot.
Independent local reelmakers, photographers and videographers. Byeselfie connects you with them. They are not Byeselfie employees.
No. You get raw photos and videos on your phone. You can edit and post them the way you like.
You pay a 20% booking fee online when you book. You pay the rest to the creator in person: half before the shoot and half after it.
Each creator sets their own packages and prices. You see the full price before you book.
Yes. 4 days before the shoot (or at booking, if the shoot is sooner) we place a temporary hold on your card for the amount you pay the creator in person. It is never charged. We cancel it when the booking is cancelled, right after the shoot is completed, or at the latest 12 hours after the planned end (longer only while a reported payment problem is being reviewed). Your bank may take a few business days to show it as released. If the hold does not work, you get 24 hours to update your card. If you don't, the booking is cancelled and your booking fee is refunded in full.
Yes. Cancel more than 48 hours before the shoot and you get the booking fee back in full. If you cancel 48 hours or less before, or do not show up (the creator waited at least 20 minutes), the booking fee is not refunded. If the creator cancels, or does not start the shoot within 30 minutes of the start time, you always get the booking fee back. For bad weather, if you both agree, our team gives you a refund or a free new date.
It depends on the package. Most shoots are short, often between 30 and 90 minutes.
Yes, usually. The creator films on your phone, so the content stays with you. Charge it and free up some storage before the shoot. In some cases the creator can use their own device, but only if you both agree in the offer. Then they send you all the files at the shoot and keep no copies.
No. Your creator shows you where to stand, how to walk and what to do. Most reel ideas are simple moves.
Yes. Many packages work for couples, friends and families. Check the group size in the package.
Yes. Send links or ideas in your request. The creator tells you what works at your spot and time.
Talk to your creator in the chat. Many spots have covered options, and you can often move the time.
Only travelers who completed a booking can leave a review, and reviews are labeled that way.
Yes. In the filters, choose “Female creators only”. It shows creators who chose to say they are female.
The photos and videos are shot on your phone and belong to you. Byeselfie never receives or stores them. If you agree in the offer that the creator shoots on their own device, they send you all files on the spot and keep no copies. Creators may use your content in their portfolio only if you agree in the app chat.
